US stamping office surplus lines premium up by record 32% in H1

Surplus lines premium recorded by US stamping offices reached $31.4bn in the first six months of 2022, a 32.4 percent increase on the same period of last year, while the volume of transactions was up 9.4 percent to almost 2.8 million as business flow into the wholesale channel continued to grow.
