Strengthening Cat 3 Hurricane Hilary threatens dangerous flooding in CA, NV and AZ

Hurricane Hilary was upgraded to Category 3 strength on Thursday evening and could reach Category 4 before weakening as it approaches Southern California, threatening dangerous flooding with forecasts for three to 10 inches of rainfall in some areas that have been suffering drought conditions.
