Marine insurers seek to force Venezuela’s €425mn marine suit to the UK

A group of UK marine insurers has urged a London appeals court to prevent Venezuela from pursuing outside of British courts a €425mn insurance claim over a sunken vessel, arguing that state immunity laws are not triggered by the dispute.
