Jefferies: Rhine water level fall could trigger Axa Climate parametric triggers

Water levels on Germany’s Rhine, one of Europe’s key waterways, have dropped to levels near those needed to trigger certain parametric insurance covers, Jefferies analysts have warned, noting that Axa’s parametric solutions business is particularly exposed should the waters continue to drop.
