Insurers handed victory in PizzaExpress’ initial Covid BI dispute

PizzaExpress has had its hopes of securing £260mn in a high-profile Covid-19 business interruption dashed by London’s High Court which sided with its insurers’ interpretation of how much the UK restaurant chain could claim under its ‘at the premises’ policy wording.
