Gallagher emerges as frontrunner in ~$8bn takeover of TIH-owned retailer McGriff

Arthur J Gallager is understood to be the frontrunner in a deal to acquire TIH-owned retailer McGriff, with sale talks understood to have narrowed down to AJG and Marsh ahead of a potential transaction, The Insurer can reveal.
