Gable collapse prompts litigation against Ardonagh’s UK broker

A UK pub group has sued Ardonagh’s retail insurance broker Towergate for more than £3mn ($3.8mn) for allegedly failing to do its due diligence on unrated Liechtenstein-based carrier Gable, which later went into liquidation without paying the group’s £2mn fire claim.
