Brookman launches ILS fund manager Gildenbrook

Former head of alternative capital at Axa XL Daniel Brookman has launched his own insurance-linked securities (ILS) focused alternative fund manager with $850mn of assets under advisory as well as a Bermudian collateralised reinsurer.
