Brokers warn “disproportionate” regulation is forcing smaller firms to sell

The growing burden caused by an “avalanche” of UK financial services regulation is forcing smaller brokers and intermediaries to sell to larger rivals, reducing competition and limiting policyholder choice, the British Insurance Brokers’ Association (Biba) has warned.
