BoE governor warns data not robust enough to adjust capital for climate factors

Bank of England (BoE) governor Andrew Bailey has warned there is currently not enough robust data available to allow the central bank to incentivise action on climate change through imposing lower capital requirements for less carbon-intensive exposures.
