AM Best: Fidelis posts best reinsurer CR in 2020; Qatar Re and Hiscox falter
Bermuda-headquartered Fidelis was the best-performing reinsurer in 2020 when ranked by combined ratio, according to AM Best, with the ratings agency noting that certain carriers have started “to turn the corner” after several loss-making years.
