Allianz leads GDPW rankings as commercial P&C market is set to exceed $1trn in 2022

The top 200 commercial P&C insurance carriers accounted for 85.6 percent of total global gross direct premiums written (GDPW) in 2021, with 145 insurer groups recording more than $1bn, according to a ranking by insight firm Insuramore.
