Asceris’ Hess: Short-term threat actors less worried about maintaining their reputation

The downturn in threat activity in 2022 was “a temporary disruption”, according to Anthony Hess, CEO of incident response firm Asceris, who added that threat actors that aren’t around for the long term are less concerned about the reputational consequences of their actions.
