Evolution not revolution

It was Justin Trudeau who in 2018 first coined the phrase that ‘the pace of change has never been this fast – yet it will never be this slow again’. One year later these words seem wiser than ever and the phrase has become a truism. While exciting, it can feel like if you stand still for a minute, then you’ll get left behind. That’s certainly true of the insurance industry where we seem to live in permanent fear of disruption.
