Markets Review: US P&C stocks slide in worst week since October

Shares in Florida carrier Universal Insurance Holdings shed more than 15 percent last week to lead a broad sell-off among NYSE-listed P&C stocks, as Wall Street’s benchmarks registered their biggest weekly losses since October while a stand-off between hedge funds and retail investors added to volatility.
