Tropical depression forms in Caribbean, posing flood risk for Central America

A tropical depression has formed in the Caribbean Sea and is expected to strengthen into a tropical storm later today, with the National Hurricane Center warning of the potential for life-threatening flash flooding, heavy rainfall and mudslides in parts of Central America.
