Private flood insurers need to pick up risk despite temporary NFIP extension: AM Best
While a temporary extension of the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) provides a short-term fix during the Atlantic hurricane season, any long-term solution will likely require private flood insurers to take on more risk, according to a new report by AM Best.
