AIG beats again in Q1 as GI CR improves to 89.8%

AIG stretched its run of quarterly earnings beats to 16 as it reported adjusted after-tax income of $1.77 per share, including a 2.1-point improvement in its GI CR to 89.8 percent and $2.4bn of capital returned to shareholders.
