Insurers “reticent” to carbon credits, cite regulatory and reputational risks: Fitch

Insurers remain reluctant to devise products to reduce risk in voluntary carbon markets (VCMs) owing to the myriad of challenges in the sector, such as lack of data and standardisation, regulatory scrutiny and reputational implications, according to Sustainable Fitch.
