Bermuda roundtable: capital favouring incumbents over start-ups

The absence of a Class of 2023 carrier start-ups reflects a preference to back established players, adequate existing supply of capacity, caution from some investors over cat as well as the recent track record of insurers, and attractive investment opportunities outside the sector, according to senior industry executives.
