TDC: Social inflation adds ~$3.5bn of losses to physician med mal market in last decade

Social inflation has accounted for as much as $3.5bn – or 11 percent – of the US physician-focused medical malpractice market’s ultimate losses in the decade to 2021 even though the sector has been insulated somewhat from the worst of the trend, according to The Doctors Company (TDC).
