UPC shares drop over 7% after $40mn Q2 cat estimate

Investors have responded to United Insurance Holdings (UPC) estimating its net second quarter catastrophe losses at $40mn by sending the Florida-based carrier’s share price down 7.7 percent in trading on Tuesday.
