Aviva GI posts 9M CR of 94.3% as GWP climbs 10%

Aviva has reported a general insurance (GI) combined ratio of 94.3 percent for the first nine months of 2022 – a deterioration of 1.9 percentage points from the same period last year – with the Amanda Blanc-led carrier reiterating plans to return further capital to investors via a new share buyback programme.
