American Coastal still looking to divest of Interboro despite improved performance

American Coastal Insurance Corporation (ACIC) – the recently rebranded United Insurance Holdings – reported a big jump in core income from $8.5mn to $28.4mn in the second quarter driven by its commercial lines segment, and said it continues to seek to offload its Interboro personal lines business despite an improved underlying combined ratio.
