Dorian slows to Cat 3 as Bahamas landfall stall brings devastation

Category 3 Hurricane Dorian’s eye has stalled over Grand Bahama Island, approximately 105 miles east of Florida’s West Palm Beach, with maximum sustained winds of around 120 miles per hour (mph), down from yesterday’s Category 5, 185mph intensity hurricane.
